Prevention is Better than Cure ....

While we are busy identifying all the "legal" and formal requirements for providing access to- and managing an off-road 4x4 eco-adventure desitination and trail, there are a few simple pointers that we should not only keep in mind, but ensure that we are actually implementing and following:

1. We are conservationist by heart ... our very livelyhood depends upon this..
2. Whilst in the process of formalising your destination, the most important step is to compile and implement an Environmental Management Plan for the trail and destination. This is actually very simple, list  the impact that your destination and associated activities are having on the environment, and write down a formal maintenance / recitification plan with detailed activities. This is nothing different from having a planting-, harvesting, livestock inoculation program .... We know what needs to be done, so lets do it.
